“My post for today is one I feel a very personal attachment with , its intertwined in what most young black men are going through out there.
It is a visual representation of how I feel a young black man is treated, feel free to decipher the pictures through your own view of the world , comments and thoughts are always welcome.

In the conception of this project, my aim was to set out to explain the complexities of will and circumstance.

As a young man you have to take care of yourself , struggle and strife , you’re born with enough responsibilities , and you’re already at disadvantage with the world never giving you much, but would all from you in a minute, down at your lowest , you either summon all the melanin in you,get up and go give your hardest, or dwell in your natural disadvantage and watch the world trample on you.

Born of color , Man of Valor , there comes a time you must embrace all it is you stand for as at only that you can get an identity. As you lie In the dirt, take It all in, embrace in and sink your roots, eventually you’ll stand tall one day, like an oak in the forest , you’ve gone through many testing times, now youre here brandished in the colours of victory, your victory chant resounding, you are the Man.
